Community Special Project
The Parkersburg Art Center’s Pottery Studio will host a special workshop during Piccalilli.
Each year this dedicated group of artists build hundreds of beautiful bowls that they donate to help raise money for the Mid-Ohio Valley’s food pantries and food programs. For more than 20 years, the Empty Bowls Luncheon raises thousands of dollars to help feed the homeless in our area. For a donation, participants receive a beautiful hand made bowl, and a soup/bread luncheon donated by local restaurants.
This year you’ll have the opportunity to hand build, or throw, a bowl of your own to help our community with this special cause. Learn a new skill and help make a difference.
